Blue Hills Berries and Cherries

Blue Hills Berries and Cherries is an Australian owned and operated company. The Chapman family have farmed in Silvan since 1894 and are best known for their quality fresh & frozen fruit and provision of “Pick Your Own” or “U-Pick” berries.

We offer our visitors a unique ‘Pick Your Own’  fruit experience at two locations: 30 Chapman Rd, Silvan for Cherries and 27 Parker Rd, Silvan for Berries.

U-Pick Berries

From mid-October U-Pick Berries is open Tuesday to Friday from 10AM – 4PM and Saturday & Sunday from 9AM – 5PM. Throughout November, December and January U-Pick Berries is open 7 days a week from 9AM – 5PM subject to fruit availabilty. Please check the Fruit Report the evening prior to your visit.

U-Pick Cherries

U-pick Cherries is open 7 days from 9AM – 5PM late November through to early January.

Please note that U-Pick entry closes 1 hour before close of business to allow for enough picking time.

Public Holidays

The farm is closed on Christmas Day & New Years Day with opening hours of 9AM – 12PM Christmas Eve & New Years Eve.

What to Bring

Please wear sensible footwear as the ground can be uneven in places. Sunblock and hats are recommended to protect you from the Australian summer elements. Picking buckets are also supplied. Additional punnets are 50 cents each. Takeaway food, cold drinks and ice cream is for sale at 27 Parker Road, Silvan.

Simply head to our farm gate shop at 27 Parker Rd, Silvan. This is where our delicious raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, boysenberries, youngberries, loganberries, blueberries and cherries are picked fresh and available to purchase from the farm gate during season times.
